Repsol, a multi-energy company committed to leading the energy transition, today announced that it has begun supplying sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Atlas Air for use in all its flights with its customer Inditex from Zaragoza Airport (Spain). Beginning in November, Atlas Air is initially incorporating 5% SAF in all its flights. The agreement makes New York-based Atlas Air the first cargo airline to use SAF regularly on its cargo flights in Spain, marking a new milestone in the airline sector. Allying to help address the issue of hunger and food insecurity in and around JFK International Airport, Island Harvest Food Bank and City Harvest announced a partnership with Valley Stream, NY-based International Shoppes, a premier duty-free and specialty retailer that operates airport retail and duty-free stores at JFK Terminals 1, 5, and 8. Infinium and Breakthrough Energy Catalyst today announced a $75 million project equity investment commitment to support Infinium’s Project Roadrunner, subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions. Atlas Air Worldwide Inc. announced it has ordered two new Boeing 777 Freighters driven by ongoing strong customer demand for dedicated large widebody airfreight capacity, particularly for cross-border e-commerce shipping.
