The new theme will be reprised throughout Spirt Airlines system as Spirit Airlines signed a deal with Universal Orlando Resorts to promote the new movie “Spirit Untamed”. Movie goers will also get special access to the production; along with the possibility of getting an Orlando vacation.

The opening performance of DreamWorks Animation’s new epic adventure hit theaters on June 4th, and Spirit Airlines partnered to promote the film. The movie is the story of a headstrong girl trying to find her place in the world. She moves to a small town on the frontier and befriends a wild horse with whom she goes on many adventures.

This is not too far off from Spirit Airlines marketing thrust to offer its passengers. Low-cost and leisure-oriented flights. Spirit Airlines hopes to change its passengers’ lives by connecting them with friends, families, and memorable vacations.

Fliers can now look for the Airbus A320neo painted with the special livery highlighting Lucky and her horse.

Lania Rittenhouse, Vice President of Guest Experience & Brand at Spirit Airlines, stated the following:

“Lucky is the kind of character we admire here at Spirit Airlines. She meets her horse in the movie and tells him ‘It’s in your heart to run free. It’s in mine, too.’ As an airline, we give people the freedom to connect with loved ones and enrich their lives through travel. Having a girl like Lucky on the side of our plane reminds our Guests that we give them More Go so they can chase their wildest dreams.”
