
Alba Wheels Up International recently announced that Vincent Iacopella has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth and President of Government & Trade Relations.
Vince Iacopella’s career spans over thirty years in the logistics industry. Dedicated to managing global customer relationships within the Transpacific markets and known for his logistics expertise, Vince specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of regulatory requirements for trade-sensitive products and merchandise.
His strategic acumen encompasses initiatives for leveraging emerging service and market opportunities, notably pioneering e-commerce solutions and innovative supply chain de-risking tools. After joining Alba’s Executive Leadership Team, Vince championed initiatives to augment customer value through a holistic approach, driving transformative results.
Noteworthy is Vince’s tenure on the Customs Commercial Advisory Committee (COAC) from 2013 to 2018, during which he influenced pivotal trade policies and fostered regulatory enhancements. As COAC Co-Chair, he helped catalyze industry advancements and regulatory changes. Vince actively engages in influential industry forums, such as his position on the Advisory Board for the UCLA Anderson School of Management Forecast, where he provides critical economic projections and trends, earning his reputation as a trusted authority.
Vince’s commitment to promoting best practices and fostering collaboration within the trade community and Government Agencies is underscored by his position on the Board of Governors of the American Association of Exporters and Importers (AAEI). In 2020, the LA Area Chamber of Commerce awarded Vince the prestigious Stanley T. Olafson Award.
With his additional responsibilities in his new role, Vince will drive economic development and policymaking for trade-sensitive products, furthering Alba’s expertise and regulatory relationships while providing clients insight into compliance policymaking.
