New program gives access to First Officer jobs while candidates complete their military service

United announced the launch of the United Military Pilot Program, an industry-leading program giving full-time, active-duty U.S. military pilots access to conditional job offers as a First Officer with the airline. PANYNJ Unveils New Construction Facility at JFK Airport

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today announced the start of operations at a new construction support facility at John F. Kennedy International Airport that will eliminate more than 300,000 truck trips across local streets by shifting to the use of barges to move material to and from the historic $19 billion airport redevelopment. The Transportation Security Administration has several explosive detection canine teams working at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), serving as key assets used to enhance airport security and keep passengers safe and secure. The canines and their handlers were trained at TSA’s National Canine Training Center in San Antonio, Texas.
