Atlas Air Takes Delivery of Boeing’s Final 747 Production Aircraft

Atlas Air, Inc., a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc., announced it had taken delivery of the final 747 ever to be produced by Boeing. The delivery of this aircraft is the last of four new Boeing 747-8 Freighters Atlas ordered in January 2021. United Airlines, Tallgrass, and Green Plains Inc. announced a joint venture – Blue Blade Energy – to develop and commercialize a novel Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) technology that uses ethanol as its feedstock.
