WINGS at JFK is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for its 2026–2027 Mentee Program, effective July 1, 2026. Designed to cultivate the next generation of aviation professionals and leaders at JFK International Airport, the program provides participants with meaningful opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and community engagement.
Built upon three core pillars—Mentorship, Networking, and Community Outreach—the WINGS’ at JFK Mentee Program offers a comprehensive experience that equips participants with the knowledge, relationships, and practical skills needed to excel in the aviation industry and beyond.
Throughout the program, mentees will participate in:
- Online coursework through the ZSchool, focused on leadership, professional development, and industry knowledge.
- Supplemental networking events and interactive workshops featuring accomplished professionals and subject matter experts.
- Community outreach and service initiatives encourage civic engagement and strengthen ties within the communities we serve.
- A Capstone Project, where mentees will apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program to develop and present a meaningful project during the program’s culminating event in March 2027.
“The WINGS’ at JFK Mentee Program is more than a professional development opportunity—it’s an investment in future leaders,” said Elizabeth A. Schuette, Founder of WINGS at JFK and President & CEO of The ARK at JFK. “By connecting emerging professionals with experienced mentors, expanding professional networks, and giving back through community service, we are creating a lasting impact both within the aviation industry and our communities.”
