Swissport International today announced the launch of PrivatPort as a standalone company dedicated to delivering premium ground handling and passenger services for executive aviation customers.

Building on more than two decades of experience serving the private aviation sector, PrivatPort provides world-class services for VIP passengers, flight crews and private jet operators through nine Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) and more than 70 locations across four continents.

The launch marks a significant milestone in Swissport’s strategy to capture the growing opportunities in the executive aviation market. As demand continues to rise for premium FBO services, dedicated ground handling and highly personalized passenger experiences, PrivatPort will have the agility to respond quickly to evolving customer and market requirements.

PrivatPort will operate as an independently governed company with its own strategic priorities and investment focus, while continuing to benefit from Swissport’s global operational footprint, industry expertise and commitment to operational excellence.

“This marks an exciting new chapter for PrivatPort,” said Josua Hildbrand, CEO of PrivatPort. “Operating as a standalone business gives us the flexibility to invest, innovate and make decisions at the pace our industry demands. Supported by an experienced leadership team and backed by Swissport’s global network, we are well positioned to expand while continuing to deliver the premium service our customers and partners have trusted for more than two decades.”

Investing In Global Operational Excellence

As part of its launch as a standalone business, PrivatPort is investing in a dedicated 24/7 Operations Control Centre (OCC) in Dubai, scheduled to become fully operational next month.

This OCC will serve as the central coordination hub for operations across PrivatPort’s global network, providing operators and brokers with a single point of contact for flight coordination, ground handling, passenger services and crew support, from the initial handling request through to mission completion.

By centralizing operational oversight, PrivatPort will simplify the complexity often associated with international executive aviation operations involving multiple providers and destinations, delivering greater consistency, transparency and operational continuity for customers worldwide.

“Expanding our dedicated FBO network is only part of the equation,” added Hildbrand. “Our Dubai Operations Control Centre connects our FBOs and the wider Swissport network through one integrated operational team, giving operators and brokers greater consistency, transparency and continuity throughout every flight.”

While operating as an independent business, PrivatPort will continue to leverage Swissport’s extensive global infrastructure and operational expertise, combining the strength and scale of the world’s leading aviation services provider with the agility and customer focus of a specialist executive aviation company.

As PrivatPort enters its next phase of growth, the business will continue expanding its international network through dedicated FBO investments, enhanced ground handling capabilities and strategic partnerships, supported by centralized operational control and a commitment to delivering seamless executive aviation services worldwide.
