JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), the Vantage Group-led consortium responsible for the management of Terminal 7 and the development of the new Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, today announced the appointment of aviation industry veteran Martin Ryan as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
As Chief Commercial Officer at JMP, Ryan will drive commercial performance and oversee the airport’s commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement, and revenue development across airline and concession partnerships. He will play a critical role in strengthening JMP’s operational performance, enhancing airport connectivity, and delivering a world-class experience for passengers and partners alike.
Ryan joins JMP with more than two decades of international executive experience across aviation, transport, retail, and airport property development. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, where he successfully spearheaded the commercial strategy, drove revenue growth, and led passenger-focused development initiatives across the airport portfolio. Prior to his tenure in Abu Dhabi, Ryan was the Executive General Manager – Commercial at Brisbane Airport Corporation.
“Martin brings a strong track record of commercial leadership and a deep understanding of the airport ecosystem,” said Steve Thody, Chief Executive Officer of JFK Millennium Partners. “His experience across aviation and related sectors will be instrumental as we start to build momentum and prepare for the phased opening of Terminal 6. We look forward to the impact he will have in strengthening our partnerships and delivering long-term value.”
The redevelopment of Terminal 6 is a key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion transformation of JFK International Airport. Once complete, the state-of-the-art terminal will feature world-class retail, dining, and art installations, offering travelers a seamless, boutique passenger experience.
