The new Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club offers an elevated experience with Chase’s first-ever bookable Reserve Suites, dedicated wellness rooms, a game room, and exclusive menus from New York staples, including Joseph Leonard and Jeffrey’s Grocery, and drink selections from Parcelle, Apotheke and Joe Coffee.
On January 16, 2024, Chase, with the support of Airport Dimensions, opened the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LaGuardia Airport, welcoming travelers to an enhanced and premium hospitality experience with a local flavor and a side of New York City-inspired design. Airport Dimensions is the global specialist in helping airports enhance their experiences and enrich travelers’ time in the most valuable ways. Metropolitan Airport News was invited to attend a media reception and was given a personal tour of the new lounge, led by Chris Gwilliam, Sr. Vice President Global Business Development of Airport Dimensions.
The entrance to the two-floor lounge is located post-security on the fourth floor of the newly redeveloped Terminal B and is the brand’s largest to date at more than 21,800 square feet. The Chase Sapphire Lounge is open daily from 4:30 am to 9:30 pm and conveniently located within a 10-minute walk to most gates.
With a vision to provide an elevated space with superior amenities for passengers traveling through New York who want a more private and exceptional experience, the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LaGuardia offers a unique experience that can be found in every space for every traveler.
To enter the lounge, travelers walk down a long corridor to an elevator that quickly brings them down to the ground level of Terminal B. Arriving at the lounge, after being warmly greeted by staff at the check-in reception desk, the first impression of the space is its expansive size, soothing tones, beautifully designed appointments, comfortable seating, and thoughtfully crafted spaces.

Amenities and Features
The design of the lounge draws inspiration from some of the world’s best designers, with interior design by ICRAVE, and features furniture from Cappellini, Poliform, Moroso, DePadova, and more, creating a space that transports cardmembers away from the airport experience into a modern private hideaway. The lounge showcases artworks curated by the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, presenting a powerful range of artists. Through a dynamic visual lens, these artists champion the diversity, vibrancy, and imagination present in New York City.
The lounge is divided into two levels, each having distinctive areas to meet the unique needs of every lounge guest. Its high, smooth-coved ceiling flows in a soft circular motion that gently blends each area of space into the next. Incorporated into the structure are columns that appear as large tree trunks with plants and greenery throughout the lounge, conveying a feel of openness and the outdoors, even though the lounge is windowless.
On the first floor and in the center of the lounge is a 360-degree bar with plenty of barstool seating around its perimeter. Surrounding the bar is a buffet with tables, comfortable and cozy seating areas, and phone and work nooks with complimentary high-speed wi-fi throughout the lounge. The second floor has quiet seating areas and three private rooms called ‘The Reserve Suites by Chase.” Each room can be rented for 3-hour increments by reservation and has its own bathroom and shower, a spacious seating area, a large TV, a bar, and many more amenities. On the main floor and the upper level, you will also find a set of granite and marble finished restrooms, a nursing room, and two all-gender restrooms.

From Reserve Suites & Wellness Rooms to a Retro-Inspired Game Room
A first for Chase and LaGuardia Airport Terminal B, “The Reserve Suites by Chase’’ are private bookable rooms where Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can have a dedicated suite attendant for the ultimate white glove travel experience. Guests can relax in the highly private spaces with their travel companions and enjoy a menu from Jeffrey’s Grocery designed exclusively for The Reserve Suites. The Reserve Suites by Chase experience also includes a signature caviar service and a reserve wine list curated by favored New York City wine bar and retailer Parcelle, featuring varietals from some of the most sought-after wineries across the globe. Guests who book a suite can use luxurious hair and bath products in the ensuite bathroom and shower, and before flight departure, will have the option to select a premium travel gift. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can find booking and pricing details on the Chase Mobile app in Benefits & Travel.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club offers dedicated wellness rooms with treatments from Face Haus, a women-owned open-concept facial bar. Visitors can choose various treatment options from an on-site esthetician and complimentary Fly By Face Haus Skincare Travel Kits.
Whether you are traveling with kids or not, a retro-inspired arcade room with vintage and retro designs is well worth a visit. It can be found on the main floor of the lounge, hidden behind a curtain where there is a photo booth that leads to the arcade that is furnished with a pinball machine, a small shuffleboard, and a jukebox.

Celebrating New York’s Finest Food & Beverage
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club welcomes a variety of local staples to bring top-quality dining experiences to its space. At the centerpiece of the lounge is its stylish 360-degree bar featuring the “Sapphire Signature Cocktail” alongside cocktails and mocktails designed exclusively for the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LaGuardia in partnership with renowned cocktail bar Apotheke. Parcelle will curate a premium wine list for guests. Guests will also enjoy a variety of made-to-order and ready-to-eat food options at its buffet by Joseph Leonard. Playing off New York’s strong coffee culture, Sapphire Lounge travelers can refuel with coffee from Joe Coffee Company, including made-to-order beverages from the on-site barista.
In addition to the buffet, lounge guests can order several signature dishes from an a la carte menu, and Chase’s website portal makes that easy as a central hub for both food ordering. To do so, you can order from the a la carte dining menu by scanning the QR code on any of the tables, where you will be brought to the website portal to place your order or even reserve an amenity.

At the unveiling of the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LaGuardia Airport, Suzette Noble, Chief Executive Officer, LaGuardia Gateway Partners, the manager and developer of Terminal B, said, “We’re honored to welcome Chase to Terminal B upon the opening of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, which will be a spectacular addition to our new terminal. This new amenity beautifully complements Terminal B’s commitment to elevating the experiences of our guests from the tri-state area and around the United States.”
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LaGuardia Airport undoubtedly offers all the amenities that enhance the travel experience. It is a comfortable and relaxing place to go after the stress of arriving at the airport and going through security. It is a destination in itself that certainly makes spending time at the airport enjoyable.
Chase will expand its network with a new lounge location at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The space is a joint offering with Etihad Airways, who previously operated the lounge. This location will offer the signature Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club experience. Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways will open on January 23 at John F.
