The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) recently hosted its fourth annual “Vision Zero Safety Honor Roll” ceremony to celebrate the achievements of more than 400 of the city’s safest TLC-licensed drivers. The event also recognized the outstanding safety records of taxi fleets, car services, and commuter van companies, who play a crucial role in spreading the message of Vision Zero. United Airlines (UAL) today announced a new enhancement to the United app that will allow customers to receive boarding passes when connecting to 19 airline partners on their smart phones, a feature which no other U.S. carrier currently offers. Boeing and Air India celebrated today the delivery of the airline’s 125thairplane from Boeing. In support of the Port Authority’s efforts to accommodate the ongoing rebuilding of LaGuardia Airport in New York, Delta will consolidate its New York-LGA operation in Terminals C and D, a significant step toward constructing Delta’s own state-of-the-art facility at the airport. Beginning Dec. 9, Delta Shuttle flights to Chicago and Washington, D.C., will relocate from the Marine Air Terminal to Terminal C, where customers will enjoy enhanced amenities while retaining the distinct Delta Shuttle product. American Airlines customers will enjoy an improved experience at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) starting Dec. 9, when the carrier consolidates its operations to one terminal. Upon the move, all American flights from LGA will be located in Terminal B. Since Dec. 2013, flights have been split between Terminals B and C. JetBlue today announced it has reached an agreement with multiple parties to move its operations at New York’s LaGuardia Airport to the historic Marine Air Terminal, bringing JetBlue customers greater convenience and an improved ground experience while the Central Terminal undergoes reconstruction.
