Westchester County Airport
Westchester County Airport (HPN) is a county-owned airport in Westchester County, New York,[1] three miles (6 km) northeast of downtown White Plains,[1] with territory in the towns of North Castle and Harrison, New York, and the village of Rye Brook, New York. It is sometimes referred to as the White Plains Airport.
The airport primarily serves Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut; the New York-Connecticut state border runs along its eastern perimeter. Being approximately 33 miles north of Midtown Manhattan, it is also considered a satellite or reliever airport for the New York metropolitan area.
Westchester County Airport (HPN) is presently served by seven scheduled passenger airlines. It now has non-stop service to many destinations and convenient connections to cities worldwide.
The Westchester County Airport main terminal does not close – it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The main terminal also does not close due to inclement weather. However, airlines may decide to cancel flights due to inclement weather.
Passengers are encouraged to arrive two hours before their scheduled departure time.
