AvPORTS Supports High School Graduates Aspiring to Pursue Higher Education in Aviation

AvPORTS has awarded TACBF $285,750 in scholarships distributed to 260 local high school students pursuing higher education in aviation fields.

AvPORTS Teterboro Airport (TEB)

Since its inception through 2021, the Teterboro Airport Community Benefit Fund (TACBF) Scholarship Golf Classic has enabled the Teterboro Airport community to award $285,750 in scholarships to 260 local high school graduates aspiring to pursue higher education in aviation or related fields of study.

AvPORTS has employees at every level and has been a part of the leadership committee, as well as the on-site support team. Since 2005, AvPORTS has contributed $22,900 to this fund.

Commenting on the matter, Jorge Roberts, Chief Executive Officer at AvPORTS, expressed that they are proud of their community leadership. “We at AvPORTS strongly believe that education is the cornerstone of societal development and these scholarships can have a positive impact on the future of the aviation industry. Please help us and our partners in supporting this important initiative.
