Turkish Airlines has awarded a three-year cargo and ground handling contract to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company. The services began on July 17, 2025, at Miami International Airport (MIA) and will begin August 1, 2025, at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Under the agreement, WFS will provide comprehensive cargo handling, mail processing, and ramp handling services at MIA building 707, while JFK building 260 will handle cargo and ramp operations. Joby Aviation, Inc., a company developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with Blade Air Mobility, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLDE) to purchase Blade’s leading urban air mobility passenger business. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today joined with elected officials and community leaders from southeast Queens to break ground on a project that will expand a truck parking facility at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), tripling the number of trucks that can park on-airport, and adding new concessions and bathrooms.
