The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today announced that the AirTrain JFK single ride fare will be reduced by 50 percent from June 30 through Labor Day to encourage the use of public transportation to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) this summer, when the airport is forecast to handle a record number of passengers for the second consecutive year while construction of new roads and terminals is at its peak.
