T8 York College Airbridge Program

As part of its commitment to fostering opportunities for local and disadvantaged communities, JFK T8 Innovation Partners (T8 Partners) celebrated a partnership with social impact platform Project Destined and Jamaica, Queens-based York College that is offering work-based learning, mentorship, and career development opportunities to diverse local undergraduate students in the Queens community as part of the commercial redevelopment of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 8. Atlas Air Cargo

Repsol, a multi-energy company committed to leading the energy transition, today announced that it has begun supplying sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Atlas Air for use in all its flights with its customer Inditex from Zaragoza Airport (Spain). Beginning in November, Atlas Air is initially incorporating 5% SAF in all its flights. The agreement makes New York-based Atlas Air the first cargo airline to use SAF regularly on its cargo flights in Spain, marking a new milestone in the airline sector.
