As the final whistle blew on FIFA World Cup 26, American Airlines brought fans together for an unforgettable celebration 100 floors above New York City. As the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26, in partnership with Qatar Airways, the airline hosted the official American Airlines x FIFA World Cup 26 Final Party at Edge NYC at Hudson Yards, creating a one-of-a-kind way to experience the end of the world’s biggest tournament.

Even as the FIFA World Cup 26 final reached more than a billion viewers around the world, only a fraction of fans could experience the match from inside the stadium. At Edge NYC — the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere — American welcomed AAdvantage members, including winners of its Spot the Bag campaign, and special guests for one of the most exclusive FIFA World Cup 26 final celebrations in the United States, featuring a surprise performance by Grammy Award-winning artist, producer and DJ, Zedd.

“Throughout FIFA World Cup 26, we’ve focused on creating meaningful moments that brought fans closer to the excitement of the tournament, on and off the field” said American’s Chief Marketing Officer Caroline Clayton. “From connecting fans to all 16 Host Cities through our industry-leading network to creating exclusive access through the AAdvantage program to unforgettable experiences like our FIFA World Cup 26 Final Party at Edge NYC, we’re proud to have connected fans to the world’s biggest tournament in ways only American could.”

Set 100 floors above New York City, the event combined panoramic views of the iconic skyline, elevated hospitality and an unforgettable atmosphere that carried fans from kickoff through the trophy presentation.

Earlier in the day, American created another unexpected opportunity for its most loyal customers. After Zedd announced a surprise appearance at Edge NYC following the end of the FIFA World Cup 2026, fans gathered at Hudson Yards for the chance to attend American’s Official FIFA World Cup 26 Final Party. The first 100 AAdvantage members received access to the exclusive event, showcasing how American continues to turn loyalty into access and connect members to the experiences they’re most passionate about.

Following the match, Zedd transformed Edge NYC’s outdoor sky deck into an open-air concert 100 stories above the city that never sleeps. Delivering a high-energy set featuring fan-favorite hits including Clarity, The Middle and Beauty and a Beat, Zedd had fans singing, dancing and celebrating against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline as the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 26 final match carried late into the night.

The event marked the culmination of American’s FIFA World Cup 26 campaign and reflected the airline’s commitment to connecting fans to the game through travel, loyalty and exclusive access.

Throughout the tournament, American connected fans to the action through its extensive network serving all 16 FIFA World Cup 26 Host Cities and experiences available only to AAdvantage members. Customers had opportunities to redeem AAdvantage miles for match tickets, access matches through FOX One and participate in exclusive activations and celebrations across North America.

As the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26, in partnership with Qatar Airways, and the Official Airline of U.S. Soccer, American continues to create new ways for fans to be part of the moments that matter most — creating connections that last long after the tournament ends.
