The Westchester Aircraft Maintenance Association, also known as WAMA, was founded in 1960. Due to the increased complexity of aircraft at the Westchester County Airport, a group of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, with the backing of several corporations organized the association. WAMA is a professional association that advances the arts and sciences of aircraft maintenance, management, and ground support. Our membership includes aircraft maintenance technicians, associated flight departments, supporting companies, and others whose work involves supporting the business, commercial, and general aviation industry.
