All-new for 2022 was the School Sisters of Notre Dame annual fundraiser. Instead of the annual Mardi Gras party, the sisters shook things up and went with a Shuffle Into Spring theme. The event was held at Villa Russo in Richmond Hill and honored Cheryl Jones from Royal Waste Services. The crowd had a roaring great time with the high-energy DJ that featured Radio Bingo, a new twist on the classic game that got everyone dancing in their seats and out onto the dance floor.
The event was very well attended by the airport community, fans of Cheryl Jones, and supporters of the SSND Education Center. The center has a wonderful mission to empower underserved women within the community, helping them to realize their full potential. The center is rooted in the belief that women are the agents of transformation for the family, society, and the world.
