A fixture in the New York City region’s waste management service industry since 1999, Joe Tesi, Sr. passed away on December 28, at the age of 72. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. TSA Airport Screening

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today that a new labor framework will be implemented starting Jan. 11, 2026, rescinding the 2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and other determinations. The Airport Community Foundation (ACF) presented a $5,000 check to the Aviation High School Education Foundation (AHSEF) on Thursday during the school’s celebration of its 25th anniversary of the Annex at JFK Airport, building 141. The donation funds were raised through the ACF Golf Classic and will support scholarships for Aviation High School students interested in pursuing careers in the airport and aviation industries.
