On Dec. 5, 2025, Airport Community Foundation (ACF) Board Members, Sean McCalla, Raymond Ringston, Arnold Sue, Mike Falacara, and Brian Cooley, took a moment from the festivities of the KAAMCO Cargo Committee’s Holiday Dinner Dance at the JFK Marriott to present the organization with a $7,500 check. On December 1, 2025, state senator John Liu was presented with a plaque recognizing him as “Check Pilot of the Year” of the New York Wing of Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.
