Council for Airport Opportunity Meets With JFK Companies

As the JFK Redevelopment Project is kicking off, top of most companies’ minds is how to staff all the new positions that are here now and will be needed in the near future. Human Resource departments from JFK based companies gathered to hear how the Council for Airport Opportunity can help fill positions with qualified, screened candidates.

CAO is a bridge between individuals seeking employment in the industry and employers seeking qualified, motivated talent. Since it’s founding in 1972, CAO has placed over 65,000 local residents in aviation jobs, with no cost to the employee or employer. The organization is funded by the Port Authority of NY/NJ and their airline partners. Their services are available at JFK, LGA and EWR. In addition to recruitment, they can also assist with interviewing space, training and temp staffing.

Visit www.caonynj.com for more information about how engage CAO as an employee or employer.
