JFK Millennium Partners has partnered with African Restaurant Week LLC (organizers of the African Restaurant Week), the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Ethiopian Airlines to bring a vibrant and engaging Pop-Up Market to JFK T7 in celebration of Black History Month. The exciting event, held for the second year in a row, will take place on February 13, 2025 from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, bringing together the rich flavors, sounds, and culture of Africa and its diaspora in an unforgettable experience for T7 employees, passengers and the wider JFK airport community.
A Celebration of Culture and Community
The Taste of Africa Pop-Up Market will feature a diverse selection of cuisines representing the African diaspora, including traditional dishes and innovative fusion creations by local restaurants including Daily Dose Juice Bar, Brooklyn Suya, Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant, Amarachi catering and more. Attendees will enjoy live musical performances by Afro’Dance New York, and a live DJ spinning Afrobeats and World Music throughout the day. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore a marketplace filled with small, local businesses offering unique merchandise, gifts, handcrafted goods, and cultural treasures. In addition, attendees who purchase items at the marketplace will be automatically entered into a raffle for a chance to win a number of exciting prizes, adding a layer of fun and engagement to the event.
JFK Millennium Partners is hosting lunch for its Terminal 7 employees, allowing them to sample a variety of mouthwatering dishes prepared by talented chefs.
