On June 23rd, Metropolitan Airport News received the Fair Media Council Folio Award in the transportation category for the March 2022 feature, The Keeper of a Storied Legacy – Cheryl McKissack Daniel & the Soaring Family Legacy of McKissack & McKissack.
The Folio Award is considered the gold standard for recognizing and honoring the Best in News and Social Media by industry professionals and news consumers.
An award reception was held at Gatsby on the Ocean, Jones Beach, and was attended by Metropolitan Airport News co-founder and publisher Kathryn Bliss, co-founder and creative director Raymond Ringston, and Editor-in-Chief, Julia Lauria-Blum.
