The JFK Air Cargo Association has named a new President for 2020 after the passing of long-time President, Joe Badamo last year. Veteran member and Board Member/Treasurer Dayna Harap will lead the JFK Air Cargo Association into the new year and beyond. Dayna is Vice President of Sales and part-owner of Direct Expedite, LLC, which offers ground expedite service nationwide. Dayna has 25 years of experience in the Air Cargo industry and is excited to lead the organization that does so much for the JFK Cargo community.
Next up on the slate for the Air Cargo Association is the 2020 Air Cargo Expo on March 26, 2020, at Russo’s on the Bay. The lineup has been announced and will be engaging for all those in attendance. Brandon Fried, Executive Director of the Airforwarders Association, is the EXPO Luncheon Keynote Speaker.
The EXPO Panel Session is entitled “Partnership & Bridging Communication Gaps”. Michael Webber, Associate Vice President of Landrum & Brown will moderate a panel of industry experts which includes Warren Jones, VP Business Development – Alliance Ground International, Yasin Tisdale, JFK Hub General Manager/Director – American Airlines, Rene Espinet, Vice President of Global Partnerships, Forwardair, Tom Marzano, President – Alba Wheels Up, and John DeBetta, President – Complete Transport Systems.
