After a three year hiatus, the JFK Air Cargo Association Expo returned with the highest number of attendees since the association’s founding in 1958. Moderated by the Air Forwarders Association Executive Director Brandon Fried, the panel discussion focused on innovative new ideas and technologies that could significantly improve the air cargo industry. Most notable was the need for better use of technology to help reduce the time and expense the industry currently struggles with.

Keynote speaker Tom Schmitt, Chairman and CEO, Forward Air Corp., spoke during lunch at great length about the company culture at Forward Air, and the benefits he believes in having honest and open channels of communication with not only employees but also across the industry, and most importantly with their clients.
Throughout the day, Expo attendees had the opportunity to network with fellow professionals, learn from industry leaders, and discover new products and services.
