A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) explosives detection canine from LaGuardia Airport and one from John F. Kennedy International Airport are two of 13 dogs featured in the free downloadable TSA 2023 monthly calendar that honors its explosives detection canines from across the country. TSA trains each of its explosives detection canines at the TSA Canine Training Center, located at Joint Base San Antonio – Lockland in San Antonio, Texas. Patient Airlift Services (PALS) unveiled its new name at its annual gala on November 3rd in Rye, NY. The Newark Board of Education (NBOE) approved a strategic partnership with the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) of Teterboro, New Jersey. AIM is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and annually graduates hundreds of aviation maintenance technicians. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today released the agency’s proposed $8.3 billion 2023 budget, which consists of $3.7 billion for operating expenses, $2.9 billion for annual capital spending, and $1.7 billion for debt service and deferred expenses.
