
East/West Industries, a leading global aerospace supplier since 1968, is pleased to announce the promotion of Senior Director of Product Development Michael Vetter to Vice President. This promotion is a testament to the trust in Mike Vetter’s outstanding leadership, his 19 years of engineering and business experience, and his proven track record of delivering results in an evolving and challenging aerospace industry.
“Mike has been instrumental in securing critical long-term programs and driving the company’s growth and is an integral part of our Executive Team,” said Teresa Ferraro, President and CEO of East/West. “During his nearly two decades of industry experience, he has played a vital role in the design, testing, and development of innovative lifesaving systems and has made essential contributions to East/West’s success. Mike’s extensive industry knowledge, along with his valued interface with customers, provides comprehensive solutions to achieve our customer’s goals.”
In his new role as Vice President, Mike will continue to be responsible for the Engineering and Business Development groups, executing organizational goals, and deploying strategies to broaden East/West’s reach. In addition to his work at East/West, Mike has committed himself to developing the next generation of engineers through his roles in the Long Island Stem Hub at the Cradle of Aviation and Rutgers Mechanical Engineering Mentorship program. Mike graduated from Rutgers University in 2005 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
