In December 2024, Gameway, the award-winning pioneers of airport gaming lounges, celebrated the official unveiling of their new location at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Terminal 8. This marks Gameway’s first location in the New York City area, bringing the total number of airport lounges to seven nationwide.
Gameway, co-founded by Emma Walbridge, is a brand with a mission to help transform the airport experience and make air travel more fun. The Gameway Lounge at JFK’s T8 is part of the $125 million investment in Terminal 8 by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and American Airlines.
Gameway’s newest state-of-the-art gaming lounge at JFK International offers an unparalleled entertainment experience for travelers of all ages. This sleek and modern entertainment concession boasts an expanded range of luxury console and PC gaming stations, industry-leading amenities, and services that take the airport experience to the next level. The lounge features nine individual gaming stations equipped with PlayStation or Xbox consoles pre-loaded with the latest games. Each station includes a customized lounge chair, a 43″ 4K TV, premium gaming headphones, charging ports for your devices, and ample space for your luggage.
There are also 8 high-performance gaming PCs paired with exclusive Corbeau gaming chairs to enhance your gaming experience. For a nostalgic experience, the retro game bar offers classic consoles and games where guests can enjoy a selection of craft beers.
Gameway’s success has been recognized and celebrated by the aviation industry. In 2024, this woman-owned concept was awarded the ‘Pioneer of the Year’ award by Airport Dimensions, the “Champions of Diversity” award by SOAR at DFW, and in 2023, Gameway was voted the “Best New Passenger Service” by ACI-NA and “Best Passenger Service” by AXN.

Open daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm, the new Gameway Lounge is located near Gate 8 at JFK Airport’s Terminal 8.
