GreenChip Ewaste & ITAD Solutions is excited to announce its expansion with the opening of a 2nd electronics recycling facility in the heart of Astoria, Queens. Along with their existing Brooklyn-based facility, this new facility will give GreenChip the ability to better serve corporate and residential customers in New York City and the Tri-State Area.

With over 10 years of experience, GreenChip is a full-service electronic waste solutions expert providing a wide range of ITAD and e-waste services to government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, healthcare providers, and the public. Core services include IT asset purchasing, electronics removal, and secure data destruction. GreenChip holds industry-leading certifications and acknowledgments, including the R2 Responsible Recycling Standard, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and membership in the Microsoft Refurbisher program and the National Association of Information Destruction.

The new Astoria-based facility will give GreenChip the means to double its processing capacity, strengthening its scope of service nationwide, while maintaining its unique closed-loop advantage. This ensures that all processing is done in the safest and most secure manner possible, with extensive downstream material tracking.

In addition to GreenChip’s commitment to industry-leading processing, this new facility will be the first-ever in Astoria to offer a year-round electronic waste drop-off service. Bolstering their continued commitment to New York City’s future, this new facility will give New York residents a place to safely and securely dispose of their electronic waste free of charge.
