The USAF A-10 Demo Team will be at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Jones Beach Air Show for the last time this year and will honor the history of Republic Aviation in their final year before being disbanded as A-10s begin to retire from the USAF inventory.
The A-10 Demo Team will operate out of their home base on the American Airpower Museum’s ramp off of New Highway in Farmingdale, taking off and landing on May 24, in addition to their May 25 and May 26 performances at the Jones Beach Air Show.

Operating from the American Airpower Museum (AAM) for the Museum’s “Legends of Airpower 2024’’ show, the A-10s will be visible to the public from the AAM’s flight line. During the course of the weekend, the public will be able to meet the A-10 Demo Team during breaks in their performance schedule right at the Museum and witness up close the amazing A-10 “Warthog” in action as they operate from the very grounds that they were developed and built upon. This final performance will also honor the legacy of all those Long Islanders who worked for the iconic Fairchild-Republic Aviation Corporation.
Additionally, the Blue Angels will arrive at Republic Airport in Farmingdale on May 23rd, performing practice sessions on Friday, May 24 in preparation for their performances at the Jones Beach Air Show on May 25 and May 26. Their takeoffs and landings will also be visible from the flight line at the American Airpower Museum, ‘Where History Flies’.
