New Features of Renewed Newark Airport Unveiled

On December 19th, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey unveiled features of the new flagship terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport which incorporate best-in-class arrivals frontage design. This new design creates four distinct areas for taxis, app-based ride-share vehicles, buses, and private passenger vehicles to reduce traffic congestion, ease passenger loading, and dramatically enhance the customer experience. JET AIRWAYS TO RESUME OPERATIONS IN THE SUMMER OF 2021

The India Times reported that grounded airline Jet Airways may be able to resume operations by summer next year if the everything goes as per plan. The new owners said that the airline may start both domestic and international operations with all the slots that were available to Jet Airways before it stopped flying. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) team at LaGuardia Airport was awarded the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Award for Pandemic Heroism. The honor, which was announced today by DHS, was awarded to the TSA security professionals of “Team LaGuardia” for its display of uncommon bravery and dedication during the pandemic. Aer Lingus Simplifies Entry Into Ireland By U.S. Travelers

Aer Lingus welcomes the revisions by Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which will reduce restrictions for passengers traveling from North America to Ireland. Effective from November 29th, arrivals from U.S. and Canada will not be expected to continue to restrict movements following receipt of a negative/not-detected result from a COVID-19 PCR test taken a minimum of five days after arrival in Ireland.  Aer Lingus also welcomes the exemption for passengers with an essential function from the requirement to undergo restricted movement or testing while exercising this essential function.
