Two weeks after Delta Air Lines [NYSE:DAL] started service between New York-JFK and Edinburgh, it has announced it will double its Scottish network in summer 2017 when flights begin between the Big Apple and Glasgow. The service, which will begin on May 25, 2017, will be the only nonstop fight between New York-JFK and Glasgow and will operate daily throughout the summer. LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP), a consortium of Vantage Airport Group, Skanska and Meridiam, together with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have signed a lease agreement and achieved financing for the public-private partnership redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport’s Central Terminal B. Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) claimed the 44th spot for U.S. companies, leading all other airlines, in the 2016 Newsweek Green Rankings, one of the world’s foremost corporate environmental rankings.
