HR reps from partner companies, led by World Wide Flight Services and ASAK Solutions, provided feedback to nearly 50 veterans in a workshop on May 22 at Vaughn College as Edge4Vets introduced its workshop series to prepare and connect veterans for cargo and security jobs at NY airports. 

World Wide Flight Services (WFS) and ASAK Solutions led an effort, in collaboration with the JFK Air Cargo Association, to bring Fordham’s Edge4Vets program to NY airports. The program prepares and connects veterans to jobs that can lead to air cargo careers.  TSA and Customs & Border Patrol participated as Edge4Vets introduced its nationally successful jobs prep program with a workshop on May 22 hosted by Vaughn College. Aer Lingus selects new JFK Terminal 6 for operations beginning in early 2026

JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), the company selected by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to build and operate John F. Kennedy International Airport’s new world-class, $4.2 billion Terminal 6, and Aer Lingus today announced that the airline will make Terminal 6 its new home at JFK and begin operations on the first day of the Terminal’s opening to passengers in early 2026. JFK Terminal One Group Association (TOGA) and Ink Innovation, a travel technology provider, have announced the expansion of the Ink Disaster Recovery System (Ink DRS) at JFK Terminal One. Ink will deploy the solution across the entire operation, helping to deliver operational resilience for the airport’s airline partners. Spirit Airlines announced the opening of a new crew base for Pilots at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in September 2024, furthering the airline’s investments to enhance operational reliability.
