Air Canada announced the retirement of Lucie Guillemette, Executive Vice President, and Chief Commercial Officer. Ms. Guillemette, responsible for the airline’s commercial strategies, will retire at the end of April 2023, ending a highly successful career touching five decades at Canada’s flag carrier. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Omnibus Appropriations Bill signed by President Biden includes funding to bring TSA employee compensation to a level commensurate with other federal agencies. It also supports funding to expand collective bargaining rights for screening the workforce.
