The Royal Waste team was out in full force this week giving back to local communities. This year, Royal Waste donated thousands of turkeys, throughout the five boroughs, to community members, homeless shelters, religious institutions, youth organizations, and their own employees. Royal Waste was able to accomplish this feat in partnership with over 40 houses of worship, nonprofits, and elected officials to deliver to communities across the New York metropolitan area.
Major Ray Miller is currently Deputy Commander of Falcon Squadron, a unit of Civil Air Patrol (CAP) based at JFK Airport, the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. He also serves as the unit’s Public Affairs Officer and Information Technology Officer. On a crisp November evening, The JFK Airport community joined with KAAMCO and KAAMCO Cargo to officially open the holiday season at the iconic Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. The event was well-attended complete with a divine display of food, a jamming band, and hand-rolled cigars to be enjoyed on the rooftop with amazing views of the city.
Harald Gloy, Chief Operations and Human Resources Officer at Lufthansa Cargo will leave the Executive Board of Lufthansa Cargo AG on February 28, 2022 for personal reasons and will devote himself to new professional challenges outside the Lufthansa Group. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recognized the 20th anniversary of the agency’s creation with a special ceremony at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport’s original Terminal A historic lobby. The live-streamed ceremony included a written message from President George W. Bush and special remarks by Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas and TSA Administrator David Pekoske. As global demand for freighters continues to soar, Boeing announced plans to add three conversion lines for the market-leading 737-800BCF across North America and Europe. The company also signed a firm order with Icelease for eleven of the freighters as the launch customer for one of the new conversion lines.
